Merry Christmas
I know I have been absent for way to long! It has been a difficult few month; but I have my crafting Mojo back - thanks to God and changed the way I look at those difficult times. It is all about attitude - it is the way you think!

Brand New Monday
Been awhile since I have posted but I am going to really get back to posting often and doing lots of designs. I went to Minneapolis and took the Copic Designer Certification Class - It was absolutely fantastic!! I will posting more of my work and also adding my certification badge to my blog. It will take about 3 weeks before I am listed on their web site. Hoping to do some demos at our local Dick Blick store.
Feels so good to get back into coloring and designing after the broken arm - even after it healed I ended up with latent nerve pain down the side - the dosctor said it was normal when you broke the both the forearm bones the way I did but I am just tired of it - so I am no longer going to let it ge me down!!

Swan Dive & New Card
As some of you know I took a not so graceful swan dive down my stairs last week. How anyone can fall down 2 stairs and manage to not only break their arm but manage to shove one bone into the hand bones ; splintering them-well only me! I really wish that we had a nanny cam so I could have submitted it to America' Funniest Home Videos - One second I was up in the air, next flipped and then thud!
Well before then I had finished a few cards that I wanted to share. First a magnolia card, I really liked the Birthday Tilda after doing her for the recipe swap so I decide to do another card with her. I used BG Ambrosia papers for the background with bazzil card stock for the white card base to give it strength. I used BG brads also in the Ambrosia line and used the top note die to pop Tilda up on. Shei is colored with copics. Jacque has converted me to stamping on Curious Iridescent Cryogen White paper - it is fantastic - it has such a great sheen ; it just sparkles!!
My next card is a CASE of a BG design using their Archaic line. It uses everything from that line except for the ribbon which is from Michaels. The small pull out tag call be used to write your seniment on.
Have a great day and thank you for coming by today!!

Recipe Swap & Where Have I been!
I certainly have been a bad blogger to say the least! I truly do not know where the rest of May and all of June went! Right now I have my Mom visiting for 3 weeks, and until you move your Mom's walker in & out of the car and around for awhile you don't realize how truly out of shape you are!! But I have had time to make cards and get my recipe swap out even though it is at the absolute last minute. So I wanted to show you my recipe swap page. I know the recipe is not for Birthday cake - but I just love this image of the birthday Tilda and I just got it! I used BasicGrey DP paper and Prima flowers with green rhinestones, I don't think they showed up very well in the picture. That is not a smudge on the actual page - it is on my camera lens protective cover - I need to get a new one.
I have also uploaded another Maggie from The Easter collection; again using BasicGrey DP. Prima flower and these wonderful brads from K&Co for the insides of the flowers - I just love them!!
I hope that everyone is having a great summer. I will be back on Wednesday to post some more cards that I have finished!! Now off to mail out my recipe swap before I get in real trouble - they are going priority!!

Happy Monday Bright Yellow Tilda

Happy Monday! It is hard to believe how quickly May has gone by. My oldest grandson Noah will finish kindergarten this week and turn 6 on the 29th. I think the clock speeds up as you get older.
Here is another party Tilda - I tried using a Marker Magna Artist Paper but I did not like how slick the surface was and because of that it just did not blend well. Strangely you can only see it when you hold it up to the light or on the photos when it is magnified. But I will never use the paper again - even though it was recommened for copics! Cardstock is Bazzill and BasicGrey for DP. I have not done the inside yet but I will repeat the DP inside with a journaling block outlined in yellow and black with a white center for writing.
I have some other stamps colored - I just need to get them on cards. Have a great day and Thank You for stopping by.
